Pineapple anam

Piñatex is a material that is obtained from the leaves of the pineapple plant. While we enjoy the sweet fruit, pineapple leaves can also be used to produce this fascinating material.

Piñatex may at first glance resemble leather, it also offers very similar properties to leather, but it is a fully plant-based product. Its slightly raw, yet beautiful structure completely captivated me and became the inspiration for my creations!

The leaves – which are normally discarded – are taken from pineapple harvests and processed to make this incredibly durable fabric, with any unused fibers then redistributed to the fields as fertiliser. It's a completely earth-friendly process and the company - Ananas Anam - responsible are working with pineapple farmers to add a whole new income stream to their businesses

Products are usually sewn after ordering, the sewing time is 1 week to 14 days. If the product does not fit, it can of course be returned))
